Lee Boothby, Esq.

Lee Boothby has been a practicing attorney for more than 40+ years. She graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1979 in the top twenty-percent of her class, and held the prestigious position of Assistant Editor of Law Review. She is currently licensed to practice law in New Mexico. She is an inactive member of the State Bar of California and the State Bar of the District of Columbia.

She began her legal career as a top expatriate tax attorney for Arthur Young & Company, in Athens, Greece. While in Athens, she served as tax advisor to a number of prominent CEOs, Presidents and Vice Presidents of multinational corporations based in the Middle East and Northern Africa, including Mobil Oil, GE, Lockheed, First National Bank of Chicago, and American Express.


After her return to Southern California in 1986, she expanded her practice to include civil litigation as well as corporate and business law, with an emphasis on entrepreneurship. In the past she was an adjunct professor at Thomas Jefferson, an ABA accredited law school in San Diego, California, where she taught advanced legal writing.

Her clients have included Enalasys Corporation, a company with proprietary diagnostic technology for the HVAC Industry. She worked with Enalasys between 1997 and 2019.
She has assisted the company in raising over $12.5 Million, and managed a shareholder base of over 450 investors. Other previous partners include Raceland Development between 2003 and 2008, a company she helped to found and capitalize. Raceland was developing a 1,000+ acre Motorsports Complex in the Imperial Valley in California.

Lee served on the executive Committee of the Association for Network Care, and is a past Chairwoman of the DWI Task Force for Taos County.

Lee is a published author. She has appeared on radio and television shows around the country. Her book, Mind-Power the Ultimate 15-Second Formula to Transform Your Life Forever, published in 1996, is still available through Amazon.com.

Lee moved to Taos, New Mexico in 2004, where she worked as an Assistant District Attorney for the Eighth Judicial District, prior to becoming a partner in the law firm of Maestas and Boothby. P.C.

Lee established the New Mexico Legal Center, P.C., in February 2009.
